Modern Reiki is a founder-led wellness brand
offering Reiki services and master-level education.
The work was strong. The perception was not.

The existing reputation fought against spiritual clichés.
It felt niche, soft, and disconnected from the
audience they actually wanted to reach.

They were not trying to attract mysticism.
They were trying to attract grounded, modern clients
who wanted real transformation.

The brand was underselling the business.

The problem

Before the work, the brand struggled with:

Visual identity that felt dated and generic.

Messaging that blurred into every other spiritual account

Iinconsistent look across website, content, and materials.

A gap between how intentional the work was
and how unprofessional the brand felt.

The result:

Strong service. Weak perception.

The strategic decision

The solution was not “make it prettier.”
The solution was to realign the brand with the actual identity of the business.

We made three core decisions:

1. Remove spiritual clichés

2. Build around sovereignty instead of mysticism

3. Position the brand as grounded, modern, and intentional

The goal was simple:
Make Reiki feel real, not performative

What Changed

Instead of layering new visuals on top of confusion, we rebuilt the foundation.

• Defined the brand’s voice and positioning

• Clarified the emotional tone: calm, grounded, confident

• Built a new visual system rooted in structure, not decoration

• Created identity elements that represented energy without relying on symbolism clichés

• Established design rules so the brand could stay consistent over time

Circles and flow lines were used to represent energy in motion.
Not as spiritual symbolism.
As structure, not mysticism.
